My Journey

I AM…

As an Ayurvedic Practitioner, I support women in reconnecting with their bodies through nature, ancient practice and ritual, and womb wisdom. My approach aims to bring balance, harmony, and softness to the mind and body.

My Journey to Soften…

A Journey to Soften was developed as a result of my personal experiences. During my childhood, I was deeply immersed in feminine and creative energy, with a strong passion for dancing, horses, and various creative projects. However, when I embarked on a career in the medical field, these passions and ideas had to be set aside. As my career grew, those passions and ideas became a distant memory. The belief that hard work is essential for success, led to burnout and emotional exhaustion, and ultimately disconnected me from my body. This manifested in digestive issues, menstrual problems, post-partum challenges, acne, and emotional imbalances. Ayurveda played a crucial role in restoring my well-being by addressing the root causes of my imbalances. It provided me with the necessary connection between my mind and body, allowing me to navigate life with greater ease and grace. Through this reconnection with myself, my relationships with my daughter and husband have also strengthened considerably.

If you can’t connect with yourself, how do you connect with those around you?

  • I worked as a surgical assistant in the operating room for ten years, predominantly in a highly active and demanding environment. Very much in my masculine energy of doing, action, working hard with little to no time for myself. I didn’t know anything about self-love or honoring my body. I lived off coffee, protein shakes and protein bars. During this time, I participated in a networking group where I acquired self-development skills, which fostered a passion for self-improvement that I have continued to pursue throughout my life (Which I believe kept me grounded as a person).
  • Due to burnout, I transitioned out of the medical field and into accounting within the family business and attempted to establish my own clothing business. This just led me to further burnout, unfulfillment, and infertility.
  • Throughout my life, I experienced painful and irregular menstrual cycles, fibroids, and acne. Having used birth control for over 15 years, there were periods when my menstrual cycle ceased for years, which doctors deemed “normal.” The struggle to conceive took nearly two years, revealing that birth control was merely masking deeper issues with my hormones and reproductive health that required healing.
  • In 2017, following the birth of my daughter, I felt overwhelmed by unexplainable emotions and declined allopathic medication after being diagnosed with postpartum depression. Despite the expectation of joy during this period, I instead felt immense sadness. To address this, I spent years researching and experimenting with holistic modalities, eventually discovering Ayurveda. It resonated with me and inspired me to return to school to study it further.
  • In 2020, I took a leap of faith and left my career to study Ayurveda. Little did I know, I was embarking on my own healing journey. My studies continued through Herbalism, Marma Therapy, Somatic Psychology, Reiki, and Womb Wisdom.
  • At the age of 41, experiencing pre-menopausal symptoms, I once again chose not to embrace allopathic medication. Instead, I adopted a holistic approach using Ayurvedic herbs, womb cleanses, and practices, resulting in the normalization of my cycle and the end of pre-menopausal symptoms within four months. This focus on ancient wisdom significantly contributed to my self-healing. By addressing gut health, womb congestion, and emotional blocks, I was able to reclaim my life, achieving a state of peace and balance.
  • Exploring the mind-body connection has significantly impacted my life. It revealed the relationship between my mind and reproductive health, highlighting my challenges with creation—both in terms of childbearing and bringing my ideas to fruition. I started aligning my inner world with the natural rhythms of nature by adopting Ayurvedic rituals and practices, such as seasonal eating, seasonal cleanses, moon-menstrual cycling, and preparing my own herbal medicines. This holistic approach led to the healing of my body. My personal journey has fueled my passion for assisting women in reconnecting with their bodies through their womb space. Reconnecting with the sacred feminine within can support individuals on their life journey, promoting intuition, self-love, emotional balance, and creativity. When we synch our bodies to the natural rhythms of nature, we experience harmony within ourselves.

    I AM…

As an Ayurvedic Practitioner, I support women in softening their nervous system and returning to the wisdom of their feminine rhythm.

    My Journey to Soften…

A Journey to Soften was born from my own remembering.

As a child, I lived in my feminine essence dancing, creating, immersed in beauty and imagination. But as I entered the medical field and spent ten years in the operating room, I learned to live in constant doing. Productivity replaced presence. I lived on coffee, pushed through exhaustion, and felt disconnected from my body. Over time, this disconnection manifested as digestive issues, menstrual irregularities, infertility, postpartum depression, and emotional imbalance.

I was taught that burnout was normal. That disconnection was normal. That suppression was normal. But my body knew otherwise.

After the birth of my daughter, I experienced a depth of emotional overwhelm I could no longer ignore. I declined medication and began searching for answers beyond symptom management. This search led me to Ayurveda and it changed everything.

Ayurveda taught me to listen. To nourish instead of push. To soften instead of force.

Through herbs, womb cleansing, oiling rituals, breathwork, and aligning with nature’s rhythms, my body began to heal. My cycle regulated. My digestion improved. My emotional world stabilized. But more importantly, I returned to myself.

I realized my symptoms were not failures of my body, they were messages.

In 2020, I left my career to study Ayurveda, Herbalism, Somatic Psychology and Womb Wisdom. What began as education became my initiation. As I entered perimenopause, I again chose ancient wisdom over suppression, and through consistent ritual and nourishment, my symptoms resolved and my body found balance.

These practices did more than heal my physiology. They softened my nervous system. They restored my capacity to feel, to create, and to trust my body again.

This work transformed my relationship with myself, my daughter, and my husband. Because when you return to yourself, you return to everything.

I Am Alchemy was born from this journey not as products, but as living rituals. Each formulation and practice is an extension of what helped me soften, release stagnation, and come home to my body.

My work now is to guide women back to themselves, to their rhythm, their intuition, their womb, and their inherent wholeness.

    Softening is not weakness.
    Softening is where healing begins.
